Bioheating Oil: Not Just a New Name...

We've upgraded our heating oil to Bioheating Oil, which simply means a percentage of biodiesel is blended with conventional heating oil: in our case between 2% and 5%.

This transition at our facility began in early September 2009. It made sense to us to fill our tanks for the upcoming season with this performance-enhancing petroleum product that is not only substantially cleaner but also cuts down on our carbon footprint along with increased efficiency. Our supplier says it best, "It's simply the right thing to do."

This product has been on the market in other areas of our country for the past 20 years. It has been tested, tried and true, attaining the ASTM (American Society for Testing & Materials) certification. Our supplier, AMERIgreen®, assures the product brought into Stem Brothers, Inc. will be of the viscosity and lubricity demanded by the colder temperatures in the Northeast. We also treat our oil with additives so that your equipment will run more smoothly.

What is Bioheat?

• Bioheat is a blend of conventional heating oil and ASTM-certified (American Society for Testing and Materials) biodiesel.

Why should I use Bioheat?

• Bioheat supports American energy independence, reducing our dependency on foreign oil.
• Amerigreen Bioheating Oil is fully tested and approved by such major burner manufacturers as Beckett, Riello and Carlin.
• Dissolves impurities (from petroleum) that build up in tank and lines that can cause system malfunction if not cleaned.

How much is Bioheat going to cost me?

• Bioheat is cost-competitive with conventional heating oil and it provides greater performance and system benefits than conventional heating oil - for the same cost.

Do I have to do anything to my heater?

• No, Bioheat is compatible with conventional oil heaters. No modifications are necessary.
• Bioheat is a blended petroleum product, so it can be mixed with existing fuel in your tank.

We also have a propane tank exchange at our main bulk plant in Milford, as well as Milford Citgo, in Milford, NJ, for your convenience.

Federal regulations require that all propane barbeque cylinders be equipped with an Overfill Protection Device (OPD). The regulations indicate that no cylinders (4 to 40 lbs.) shall be filled unless equipped with an OPD.

We offer quality propane heating products, such as Rheem Water Heaters and Empire Space Heaters.

Propane Payment Plans Available

• Easy Pay Plan for Home Heating Customers, 11 month plan with a 5 cent per gallon discount on all paid up accounts with or without the cap feature. All Easy Pay Plans will be on our "worry free" automatic delivery system.
• 5 Cent per gallon discount for payments received within seven days of delivery.

Biodiesel

Amerigreen Biodiesel is a clean-burning, renewable fuel made with American soybeans. It produces lower emissions, and its natural cleaning agents and lubricants improve engine performance while reducing maintenance costs. It can be used in any diesel engine with no modifications. The advantages of our Biodiesel:

• Advanced Engine Performance: Increases longevity and overall health of your engine.
• Cleaner & Environmentally Sound: Improves local air quality; reduced tail pipe emissions compared to regular diesel.
• Supports American Energy Independence: Reduces our need for foreign oil imports.

We sell clear and dyed biodiesel fuel for on-road trucks and off-road vehicles. Our diesel fuel includes winter additives for smooth running vehicles.

Filling Station Location: Please visit our Biodiesel Automated Fueling System, which is located at our Milford bulk plant on Frenchtown Road in Milford, NJ.

Both clear on-road biodiesel and dyed off-road biodiesel can be pumped at any time day or night. Our customers are required to purchase 100 gallons per month or more and we will provide them a key with access to the pumps that are open 24 hours a day.

Billing is done at the end of each month and there is a 5-cent per gallon discount if the bill is paid within 7 days of invoicing. We also offer additional volume discounts on the clear Biodiesel for purchases over 200 gallons a month.

Kerosene

We sell kerosene for space heating or home heating at our Citgo stations in Frenchtown, NJ and Milford, NJ.

Gasoline

We sell Citgo gasoline at our Citgo stations in Bloomsbury, NJ, Frenchtown, NJ, Flemington, NJ, and Milford, NJ.

Bloomsbury Citgo is conveniently located off of Exit 7 on Route 78 in Bloomsbury, NJ (across from the 76 Truck Stop). This is a spacious area, housing eight gasoline dispensers offering three grades of gasoline and a propane fill station, as well as a bright, clean convenience store for quick shopping. You'll get friendly 24-hour service when you stop in for a tank full of quality Citgo gasoline at our competitive low prices.

Milford Citgo is located on Frenchtown Road at the entrance of the small town of Milford, NJ. This beautiful "home town" location offers three grades of gasoline, kerosene, biodiesel fuel and a propane 20 lb. tank exchange service for your outdoor grill needs. Stop in the convenience store while using the other services. The station is open early each morning till late each night offering all you need to keep your vehicle "up to par".

Frenchtown Citgo is located on the corner of Race Street and Kingwood Avenue (Route 12) in the quaint town of Frenchtown, NJ. This Citgo station is surrounded by numerous antique shops, fine restaurants and the beauty of old Victorian homes. Available for your convenience, we have three grades of gasoline, kerosene, biodiesel fuel and a propane fill station, as well as a convenience store for one-stop shopping. Stop in to see us!
